DIAMOND DOGS POSTER - FAKE

Postby Nathan on 28 Dec 2006, 14:19

I made this poster for Diamond Dogs.
It won't let me post a link to it but if you go onto the internet movie database (imdb) into the Dolph Lundgren boards you will see a post titled BRAND NEW DIAMOND DOGS POSTER. In there is the link for the poster!

Thanks!

I kind of like that whole B&W thing. I'm not too sure about using the credits for Detention, but I suppose your just giving an idea. It's an interesting idea, and different. If that ended up as the official one, I wouldn't mind.

Thanks! I couldn't make any other credits btw. It looked stupid and took the attention away from the actual pictures and title. Thanks for your opinion - I'm flattered!

Looks pretty good. I don't know why more movies, especially flicks like the ones Dolph makes, don't use B&W cover shots to stand out from the crowd. Like the ones from THE MECHANIK that weren't used in the US.

Yeah I know it makes them more interesting. Although the covers for Dolph covers are pretty good just check out Seagal DVD covers and you'll see what's really bad!

Thanks again for the comments!

How excited on a scale of 1 to 10 are you about the release of Diamond Dogs?

10 being the most excited, 1 being that you couldn't care less.

Me? Personally I go for a nine. Been looking forward to this project a lot since I saw the intriguing on-set pics

Did you know that director Shimon Dotan was just awarded the Special Jury Prize at the last Sundance festival for his documentary "Hot House"?

Film featuring female co star wins Golden Bear in Berlin

Postby preacher on 19 Feb 2007, 15:45

Read in the paper this mornig about the ongoing filmfestival in Berlin.
Apparently Nan Yu (Starring in Diamond Dogs according to IMDB) is the leading lady of film winning the Golden Bear..
Checked her out on IMDB and she has won and been nominated for several awards herself.

Hope that she will get more attention and can speak some about Diamond Dogs to the press.

This blog seems to be from someone involved in the casting and locations scout...

Here's an excerpt from the Berlinale website:
A night of suspense culminated in the announcement of the main prize, the Golden Bear, going to Tu ya de hun shi (c). Jury president Paul Schrader and Berlinale director Dieter Kosslick handed the trophee to Wang Quan'an and Le Wang, the director and the producer of the winning film.

Hm, 16 votes on the imdb... doesn't seem to be a blockbuster yet.

DIAMOND DOGS STILL IN POST-PRODUCTION?

Postby Nathan on 24 Mar 2007, 17:35

Hi,
Just a question to ask. Is Diamond Dogs still in post-production or is it completed and awaiting release dates, DVD cover and DVD information, trailer etc?

Thanks!
