Which Dolph movie are YOU most addicted to?

Postby Nathan on 19 Feb 2007, 23:56

Hey people,
Which Dolph movie(s) are you most addicted to, the one you want to watch time and time again and again as soon as its over?

My choices would have to be:
Direct Action,
Cover Up

and Showdown in Little Tokyo.

Anybody?

Nah, Cover-Upi s too long and boring for me, and the cinematography on Direct Action was pathetic.

I'm addicted to:
-The Punisher (my first and favourite Dolph movie)
-Showdown in Little Toyko (god is this movie fun to watch)
-I come in Peace (I hate it when people call it "Dark Angel", THAT title doesn't even fit the movie)

I like me some Rocky 4 and Dark Angel (Sorry Canadian!). Those are two I grew up with as a kid. Masters too, but less so now, being as it's a bit crap really.

Its more the characters I'm addicted to in Direct Action, they are all likeable the direction is fantastic - agree about the cinematography though. Also I think the main reason for my addiction to Cover Up are the unexpected twists and the plot rolls along quite nicely but then again I agree with your comment about it being a little boring possibly in the middle - I guess they could have expanded on ONE action scene in the middle.

Red Scorpion (highest drool factor, always good for a Ladies Night) ;-)

UniSol (just a great movie)

SILT (Dolph and Brandon were a great team and I love the dialogues)

Can watch those again and again.

I just got Silent Trigger in the mail as a Birthday present, so I'd just like to add it to my list of "most addicted to" Dolph movies.

I've certainly seen The Punisher and Rocky IV the most.

Rocky IV
Masters of the Universe
Red Scorpion
The Punisher
I Come in Peace
Showdown in Little Tokyo
Universal Soldier
Joshua Tree / Army of One

complete classics

Cover Up is good... despite what some people say... I think its better than some of the more recent stuff.
I think my only problem with that movie, lies in the teaming up of Dolph and Louis Gossett Jr. Only because, they were in Punisher previously together, and that movie was by far--way better than Cover Up. I don't think Louis Gossett Jr. was used to his full potential.

Showdown in Little Tokyo
Universal Soldier
Command Performance
Punisher
(so much so that I have a brief recording of Dolph's first actual line in the movie on my phone.). So I guess I'd have to say Punisher is my most addicted movie.

This may change, though, when the Expendables comes out in the UK. I have the limited edition pre-ordered but it's not out till mid-December:(

Silent trigger
Universal Soldier
Men Of War
Showdown In Little Tokyo

and, most of all...

Punisher!
Snuck in to the cinema (yes, it was in theatres in the UK) wayy under age, and still love it!
Also obsess over the Biohazard song Punishment, as it has Dolphs opening monologue as an intro!

Same here! I guess MASTERS and THE PUNISHER are top of the list of the ones I've seen most (30-35 times?).

I'm glad someone finally mentioned "Men Of War". I think it's one of his better movies! If Dolph was into doing appearances on American TV shows five or so years ago, they could have had a mini M.O.W." reunion with the TV show "JAG". With movie co-stars Catherine Bell (Grace in MOW)being one of the main characters on the show. The Late Trevor Goddard (bad guy Keiffer) guest starring on the last few seasons as an Australian Navy lawyer. Anthony Dennison(Fellow teammate of Dolph) with a reoccuring role as a Captain of a battleship. If Dolph could have played a Marine on trial or another lawyer, that would have made a great scene with all of them in the same room again. Oh well, wishful thinking.
