Dolph looks terrible in this poster of EX4. His head is bigger than his body. In reality he is bigger than all his co stars. He is like a rock, wide as a mountain, definitely it is a big disproportion here. Does anyone noticed that, or it is just me. Head looked like inserted into this torso different pic - copy -paste terrible looking...

I winder why Scipio and Tran did not get a poster image and credit with smaller letters, unfair to me... disrespectful

The R rated trailer is fun though.

I'm cringing when I hear the same old banter between Stallone and Statham which hasn't changed since the original and wasn't that funny to begin with: "You almost killed me! - You're welcome!"...

looks a decent movie from this trailer, full of action and funny situation scenes. Stallone will supervise the whole operation, sort of back up (just in case of something goes wrong). Does anyone know what is the runtime of EX4 ?

PROS

The return of Jason Statham, Sylvester Stallone, and Dolph Lundgren—plus the addition to the franchise of Megan Fox, Tony Ja, and others—could help maintain interest from the core older male audience who drove the prior three films at the box office.

Competition from action films will be relatively light in late September and throughout October.

CONS:

This sequel is nine years removed from the third film, which already saw domestic revenues decline 54 percent to $39.3 million from 2012’s second Expendables entry ($85 million).

Unlike prior installments, this new film doesn’t boast the kind of marquee action star ensemble (Schwarzenegger, Ford, Gibson, Snipes, Banderas, Van Damme, Willis, et al.) that served as the commercial hook across the first three chapters.

Red band trailer looks fun, but the effects look rough. I know effects in trailers can be unfinished, but they look the same as in the first trailer. Considering this was filmed in 2021 you'd expect the effects work to be finished by now... Not holding my breath for it to look better/improved in theaters, but maybe I'll be surprised.

"Definitely rated R" wouldn't be a bad tagline btw. Definitely better than "They'll die when they're dead". Weird to see them re-do the same "You almost killed me" joke again...

But the "R" rating being the sole sales pitch is pretty weak, as if there weren't other major issues in the franchise that they didn't seem to fix...

What the hell is that ? Nobody is shooting on location, practical today. It is like watching a video game. I have this issues with Indiana Jones 5, Hidden Strike, colors look so washed up and yellow sand so fake, all shot (i guess) on green screen. 100 million -300 million budget and all look like 2 penny movie on visual composition , fake , fake, fake
