My Impact Dolph article available now!

Postby Jox on 18 Aug 2007, 11:35

Recently I got in touch with one of UK Impact magazine's chief editors, who gently suggested a piece about Dolph so I jumped on the occasion and now it's featured in the Impact September issue!

http://www.impactmoviemagazine.co.uk/issue.php?i=189&a=1943#1943

If you thought that he retired from making movies or that the Dolph-in was on the verge of extinction, just think again. Dolph Lundgren, the imposing Swedish born action star returns!

Over the past few years, Dolph Lundgren has taken his career into his own hands, doing more and varied publicity, like being portrayed in the German/French TV show Into the Night with..., featured as the first Hollywood star in a Russian music video and even performing in a boxing match for King of the Ring in Moscow! And he is not ready to stop his comeback yet, so Seagal and Van Damme beware!

As Dolph fans there's nothing in there you don't know already. Since none of Dolph's recent films have been released in the UK (not none since Direct Action), this article aims at pushing uninformed people in checking out his latest movies with small reviews and getting them excited about the upcoming ones...

I have no idea how the layout looks, I've sent them high-def pics I had and depending on the font size, it should be between 2-4 pages

BTW for none UK residents, Impact can now either be ordered on hard copy or digital file online!

Wow, congratulations!
I'm currently writing an article about the new payment system Amazon FPS. Not so interesting for this community I have to admit. ;-)

It is sad that Impact is the only mag that still talks about Dolph but it is a great mag. Too bad it is kinda hard to find in America.

Well still, even them rarely cover Dolph (especially for an action movie mag and compared to all the Van Damme pieces they're running regularly), proof is I had to do it myself!

Problem is also that Dolph movies gets poorly released in the UK, The Defender and The Mechanik are still waiting on the shelves...

This looks really cool! :D
Is the "think again" a reference to the Red Scorpion promo poster?

Yeah I thought about it although it's been used in many other movie trailers and such so it's sort of a classic line...
