well it depends, for instance there could also be some delays between the time it's completed and the time it gets released... I'd shoot at best for a fall release.

Not sure if Nu Image will screen the entire film at Cannes (too tight of a time frame) but they will certainly show buyers (distributors) a promo in their suite...

(and yes Sony picked up distribution for the US market)

Okay, thanks Jox. Very informative. What is the budget for this film by the way?

Michael Pare is seeing a bit of a resurgence, thanks in most part to Uwe Boll! Never seen one of the guys movies but he sure keeps getting money to make them! Enjoyed Pare's work in Eddie and the Cruisers, Streets of Fire (LEGEND!) and Philadelphia Experiment but haven't really followed his career in the direct to video market.
Jox, any more details on your set visit? How was the food? How was the crew? Was there a language barrier at all?

S W E E T

I have faith in this being a good looking film with Clarkson behind the camera.

I hope they do the asskicking justice in the edit.
MM suffered a bit from that you sometimes would not see what really happened during the fights. I am sure this was a done on purpose to strengthen the mystery surrounding Ryder. How he just shows up from nowhere and before you can even see the punch, you´re on the ground.
Pretty cool in a way.
I am rambling of topic here but anyway.

Just about everything about those pics rules the earth, sun and moon.

Yeap Michael Pare vs. Dolph!

That was my first day on the set when they shot the explosion (not the only one in the movie but probably the biggest for sure), that was awesome to see that live! And later in the day they shot more fight inside the building with flames around: better than the Universal Studios "Backdraft" attraction haha!

So yeah I got tons of pictures from the set, the best of which you shall find on my upcoming site...

Believe or not I did not get a chance to take a pic of me and Dolph, but it was better, I got to hang out, talk and have diner with him! And hopefully this was just our first encounter...

But yes,at that pic,he looks in better shape.I mean, his body seems to be look more trained than in his other projects!

And great to hear the report of your Set visit. You had dinner with Dolph????Oh,that's wonderful!

And yes,it's a pity, that nobody took a pic of you and Dolph. So you have the memories only in your head!
