In terms of promotion and the position that Dolph would be in with Icarus I think US-3 should be made first. Not only because it would be a great movie to come after CP and give Dolph a rest from directing but it also means more people will check out Dolph's next project after US-3 and Icarus will have more time to be prepared.

I personally think that the past couple of years and the next couple of years to come sound fantastic for Dolph, so many great projects.

I'd rather see US-3 than Icarus at the moment. It'll be bigger budget for starters, plus have Van Damme too. Also it does seem Dolph's intitial 3 character assassin story he mentioned about a year ago, is not the same film as the Icarus that is slated for a start pretty soon from Insight films. I guess they've got Dolph in to headline something with a simpler idea.

Perhaps if CP and US-3 hit it big, then Dolph's original idea and own script, will be the one to get made, if Icarus indeed comes out after US-3. Plus it may have a bigger budget. In terms of potential success, Dolph should follow CP with US-3, in my view.

I personally would still love to see the Brazilian bare knuckle boxing film he mentioned a while back. I'd guess that to get greenlit on a Rio set picture, any backers will need to see a run of big hits for Dolph, and all his in development projects all have potential. I'd love it if they got Walter Hill to direct too.

I thought Dolph played a bad guy in Icarus to start with..the plot seems to have changed quite a bit. But I do hope that US-3 will perhaps bump the budget up a bit for Icarus.

I would really like to see the bare-knuckle drama, we don't see enough fighting from Dolph really so that would be a cool project, would also be something very different after Icarus or US-3.

It's been given a director, announced and is in pre-production, there is a plot and Van Damme and Lundgren have both signed contracts, it's pretty close yet a little unbelievable at the same time.

I hear that Peter Hyams has signed on for Cinematographer - That could also be good news, I loved his directing (Running Scared, Timecop & Sudden Death) in which he was also doing DP and directing. Its on IMDB so not sure how accurate it is.
- Lets be honest. This is just a case to you, to me its more. Much more! and if you try and take this disk I'm going to hit you very, very hard!

I don't think it will be too accurate..Simon Fellows commanding Peter Hyams...unless Peter Hyams is also the director now, but I still think it's false and I'd be surprised and happy if it was true.

Apparently director Simon Fellows has been removed. Peter Hyams (currently listed as cinematographer) has worked as joint cinematographer and directer of his own films, so this is sounding more promising. Also, Hyams has worked with producer Moshe Diamant before (on The Musketeer), and JCVD twice (on Timecop and Sudden Death). So consider this a strong rumour, and now I am officially excited about the project.

Apparently Hyams involvement is far from being confirmed.

And we have to be careful about jokesters updating false information on IMDB, which seems to happen much around JCVD projects...

According to Van Damme, US-3 is going ahead without Dolph. JC wanted Dolph in it, but the studio apparently won't bankroll two big money leads. As well as that Van Damme doesn't seem to keen to be in the film at all. It's well known it's through contractual obligation, and while JC clearly would like to work with Dolph again, as that won't happen, I can't see him being too enthusiastic on screen. He's also apparently only on the shoot for 10 days.
