Well, both movies were shot at the same time and came out around the same period. So I don't think one influenced the other, I'd say it's rather a matter of trend, or "great minds think alike"

Well, the movie gives his (Drago's, that is) weight as being 261 lbs, but I'm not sure if that's an accurate reflection of Dolph's weight or not. I doubt he'd have been far off it though.

That's one of the few details I didn't pay much attention to, I think he was 230-240 pounds.

I think his weight in the movie was correct from what they billed.

I just thought back to American Gladiators, he was bigger than Gladiator Hawk who was 6'4 250lbs, but smaller than Gladiator Tower who was 6'5 285lbs. DL was billed as 260lbs in the movie, plus he was literally a mountain of muscle, and muscle weighs more than fat.

I'm sure when this movie came out and everybody seen DL, they (ESPECIALLY women) went nuts!

I watched the movie because I had a crush on Sly. Guess Sly lost half of his female audience to Dolph after that. I went on watching his movies but he went to second place after Dolph on my personal movie star list.

That full-length theme isn't of Drago's theme, Jox. It's a different piece used as the theme for the Transformers movie's lead villain. Granted, they do sound similar in places, but they're not the same piece.
