I think perhaps he means a lot of hype created and good news about the project and the pay-off being rather disappointing. Is there any indication of how long the fight at the end will last Jox? Will it be a decent battle worth a few minutes?

I'm sure the end fight should be pretty good. I just came from the CP website looking at the cast bios and Dave Legeno was a MMA fighter, so with both his and Dolph's loads of experience in combat sports, the fights should be good to look at. You should check out his biography on the site, he mentions he and DL's fight and how they prepared for it and all.

I don't think they're going to skimp on the fight scene because it'd probably do some damage to their fighting reputations. I'm pretty confident in the way the scene should breakdown.

Well don't expect too much though (it's still a low budget) et you shouldn't be disappointed.

I'd be lying if I gave you an estimate, and the ~30days shooting schedule didn't allow to spend much time filming it... but it's a cool "down and dirty" one I think.

I'm glad to hear someone reads all this stuff! (with people span of attention shrinking I'm worried people might not bother taking the time and concentration to read for a few minutes)

Which is?

Fight is edited down too short and bares bad slo-motion in places unneeded with few really solid moves that don't please viewers at all and have a cliche ending. also see: Second-In-Command.

However, after reading some info here and on the CP site, I'm convinced that the fight will go as I hope--full of good hits and a great ending move/death.

LOL, yeah, I'm a sucker for a cool interview. I've read most of them. I like to read text, IDK, I hope that isn't something that requires help...

BTW...

That is a COOL SHOT of DL playing the guitar! 8)

Why? I'm not even sure he had to doubled on this one. Otherwise it would be the same guy who doubles him when he shoots in Bulgaria.

That's why I was asking, I know he didn't have a double on Missionary Man and I wondered if he'd done the same on CP to put the money towards other things.

One of my favorite bits of the trailer is when Dolph breaks his guitar's body over a henchman's head, then impales him with the neck. Classic novelty death!

From composer Adam Norden's blog:
Right now I´m finishing the score to Command Performance, my third movie with my director friend Dolph Lundgren. Dolph plays a rock n´ roll drummer who as it turns out has lots of fighting experience. As the story unfolds, this proves to be valuable of course...

I'm surprised I've read several comments on the web from people who didn't like the song (as in 'hated it'), like here
Sure it's not the best thing ever but is it sincere to think it's that bad?

Cool, I liked the music from The Mechanik and Missionary Man. Hope this is another good soundtrack though something slightly different will be needed to fit in with the rock music.

Adam Norden is the composer of DIRECT ACTION and THE DEFENDER, Elia Cmiral did THE MECHANIK and MISSIONARY MAN. Both are very good composers and good assets to Dolph, not mentioning very nice guys.
