Mate, I just looked at Dolph's IMDB page and realised that. It's crazy!! He's all over the place, running from one set to the next kicking ass...Cannot WAIT until we see him arrive on The Expendables set!! We've already had Stallone arrive (and dive off piers etc) and Statham and Roberts...this is getting really exciting!! I wonder what Dolph's "look" will be in the movie. Hopefully there will be some cool stuff like chains of bullets and tatty vests etc...although I hope Stallone doesn't give Dolph a square cut again...

Statham helps kick the action up another notch....

Great pics, great interview! Look at that last photo... and Sly is 60! I wish I would be a quarter as trained as he is and I'm much younger... wow.

I really can't wait to see this. And yes please: No square cut, no bald Dolph! The mercenary look in MoW was very good.

I know you didn't like his haircut in DD Mosquito but I thought that was cool and a good change..but yeah, definately don't do it again, Statham is bald. If I were to decide Dolph's look in The Expendables, I'd give him the hair from Missionary Man, a blood stained vest, with a chain of bullets around him. His weapon would be an M60?? I think it's called, like the one he used in Unisol... :D

I´d give him a Mohawk/beard combo. Like a blond Mr T. That would kick everyones ass!

Allthough... He is playing a Scandinavian. Right? Last (and only) time he did that was in Men of War and they dressed him up as a Swedish immigrant from the 1800´s. (In the beginning of the movie, not the army clothes). Plus they had him putting his dip of snus (dipping tobacoo) under his LOWER LIP! Who does that?! Not the Swedes I´ll tell you that much. That´s gross! Upper lip, that´s where it´s at!

So, I don´t know how they´ll show his Scandinavian background in his costumes this time. Maybe a Viking helmet with horns!
Spring, era jävlar!

Stallone has huge arms, he is pumped, the pics look awesome, the action as begun, something tells me Dolph won't be arriving in 2 or 3 weeks how the hell will Dolph concentrate on Icarus, if he must soon be in the biggest movie of his career, Dolph must be thinkin about the expendables while he is filming Icarus. Also Command performance must be in his mind.

Dolph shall get to Louisiana around mid-May, after they're done in Brazil, which has started later than scheduled.

wow, so that means Dolph is not going to be in the movie for the first 20 minutes of the expendables. It's alright if he gets 60 minutes in the whole movie it's fine with me.

This flick should definitely have a sex scene in it. Most of the good action films have at least a scene of good lovin'--even Silent Trigger did!

Not at all, if this hasn't been rewritten, Dolph IS gonna be with everybody in the opening, that should be a big 10-15 mins action scene at least (reminder: movies are never filmed in order of the story, the scene from the photos is from about the middle of the film).

Yeah that's right, take the opening of the James Bond movies for instance, they open with an action scene from a previous mission or something just to gain the audiences attention. I think opening with an action scene can never go wrong in an action movie and certainly gets me pumped!! Perhaps Dolph is already dead or something before they reach Brazil, but hey, I'm just grabbing at straws. There are so many people in this movie there is no telling where they fit into the story and when, I'm confident Dolph will feel like part of the team though, even if he hasn't arrived yet.

Brittany Murphy has been cast as Mickey Rourke's singer girlfriend according to trade mag Hollywood Reporter. Most likely a cameo.

I'm pretty sure that it will indeed be just a cameo. Kinda like the cameo Minnie Driver had in GoldenEye--similar role, etc.

By the way: have we talked about Bolo Yeung already? I think he should at least get a cameo. Maybe as Jet Li's father or boss? ;)
