Story about ICARUS from Firstshowing:

http://www.firstshowing.net/2009/04/11/first-look-badass-photos-from-dolph-lundgrens-icarus/

Nothing all that new, mainly just the photos we've seen and a rundown of the plot.

Actually it's been on http://www.quietearth.us/articles/2009/ ... ens-ICARUS first a few days ago, then firstshowing.net reproduced the story (they did not bother when I sent them). But Joblo mentioned it last week in their action round-up (http://www.joblo.com/arrow/index.php?id=16140)

i love those stills but look now vancoucer, canada is covering russia.

isn´t it ironic.....we are complaining about too many dtv low budget movies made in east europe are covering american or asian locations and now north america is covering russia. i am looking forward to that.

I never really felt that we were complaining about European locations being used as American soil, but that they were constantly using the really shitty places in Bulgaria for all of it. But now I'm happy that Dolph's using Vancouver for Russian settings because it's nice and clean there!

Hell yeah!! Haha, this is brilliant. Tonnes of great locations and looks very violent. Can't wait for this or CP to be honest, I hope Dolph directs at least one movie per year from now on because he knows about promotion, hype and he always wants to kick ass. God, I love this!!

Sick!! I think this is gonna be a really interesting film for Dolph. The switch between caring family man and brutal hitman should be cool!! I love the characters Dolph is playing recently between pot-smoking ex biker turned rocker and killer cyborg clone... Just doesn't get any better...

It's really noticeable that Icarus has a very professional gloss to it - I'm not sure if it's the fact it appears to be lit correct or if it's just because the photographer has done a good job. Certainly it looks more expensive than its budget.

Which is where US3 really isn't impressing me at all - that look cheap - very cheap - very straight to video Albert Pyun (remember him?). So I'm much more excited about Icarus than US3.
