One question, so Steve Austin and Eric Roberts are bad guys, because to me it looks like from the pictures i have seen, SA and ER are running away and Sly and Statham are chasing them.

I don't want to guess too much but I was thinking that Sly and Jay chase down the plane, get aboard, fire at Eric and Austin and they jump in the water? Or maybe as Jox says, these scenes are completely separate.

The fan-made poster is very good work (although Sly's mouth looks hilarious). And I'm even more happy about the still image with Sly and Statham... two generations of 100% action guys and the perfect proof that true action movies are returning. Isn't that just fabulous? I have to admit I'm even more keen on watching this movie than on watching Wolverine although Wolverine has by far the bigger budget and excellent previous movies. Most people would say that it also has the bigger cast, but that only applies if you ignore the glorious past. "The Expendables" just has to be a fantastic movie because this cast is so unbelievable. The wet dream of every action afficionado (and afficionada). I still can't believe it completely.

I agree Mosquito, I was just thinking, that's really weird I never thought I would have seen Eric Roberts and Steve Austin diving away from an explosion together after being attacked by Jason Statham, haha. When the others come to the set it will be even more surreal. I have to pinch myself every time someone else joins the set.

This was reported by some intern working in a cinema and who's boss knows Sly and had the shooting script but who knows if he's got the facts straight (seems to have connected the characters and actors just from looking up wikipedia)...

That was a really interesting read!! The characters all sound so interesting!! I can't wait to see Dolph's performance, hopefully he gives a great performance in US-3, Icarus and The Expendables and that this constant filming isn't screwing with his head.

I just read the Dolph portion of khurram's post because I can't #%*@ing wait anymore and it sounds like a sort of Albert Wesker (resident evil) -type role and Wesker looks loads like Dolph. I CANNOT WAIT FOR THIS FILM! HELL YES, MOTHERTRUCKER!!!!!

Y'know part of me is secretly hoping that the Expendables has a surprise ending and old Gunnar not only gets his $10 million and his city, but also lives to enjoy them. After all, it's high time Big D got to win against Sylvester Stallone and JCVD don't you think???
