Swedish Dolph Lundgren Blog

Postby Luigi on 22 Jan 2009, 02:23

Me and a friend have created a tribute blog about Dolph! It can be seen on the net version of one of Sweden's biggest newspapers! It is in Swedish however, but at the end of every blog submission there is a "fact" about Dolph in English that some might find funny. These facts are very inspired by the Chuck Norris facts.
Check it out here if you want to: http://www.vk.se/noje/?blog=909

Thanks a lot Jox! The response was great on the first day, which was yesterday. It was the 6th most read blog on that day which is a record for a new blog! From what I've heard, people liked and were genuinally interested in the Blog, which feels great!

We now have a competition for people to win the DVD Missionary Man. Although I believe many of you already have it in your collection, there might be some people who does not.

It is mostly for Swedish users, but anyone is welcome to participate. All you have to do is click on "kommentera" and give us a reason why Dolph Lundgren is the ultimate action star and you are in the competition!

Hope at least one of you guys here will take upon the offer :)

Cool, one good reason to get it would be that the Scandinavian edition has the advance artwork (modeled on a Billy Jack poster and more traditional western-looking) that Dolph had made for his presentation to pitch the project.

The competition is over, but I thought I'd post the winner. To compete you had to give reasons to why Dolph is the ultimate action star!

"Dolph means happiness. His career only consist of succesful career moves, stable performances and his commitments in the choreography and the manuscripts. Wherever Dolph is, joy is spread throughout the bodies of the beholders, and that is a reason as good as anything as to why Dolph is the greatest!"

Anybody agree? :)

Interesting might be the right word. It´s such a strange mix of very sober observations like "stable performances" and "commitments in the coreography" and, slightly, stranger comments like "Dolph means happiness" and "Wherever Dolph is, joy is spread throughout the bodies of the beholders"

I´ll put it like this;

It´s the sort of message you would typically find in the home of a serial killer scribbled on their basement wall in shit.

(but I like it)

Picture used as a way to support Dolph and the blog by checking out his movies and news about him instead of reading the usual blogs who tell you how to make vegetarian meals (nothing wrong with being a vegetarian) and what to do in order to get in shape for "Beach 2009".

We are currently looking for more writers at the Swedish Dolph Lundgren blog, so if you speak Swedish and have what it takes, please let me know, and we can hopefully work something out!

Edit: This just came across my mind. If you speak English and want to write in our blog about Dolph, that will be just fine as almost every person in Sweden speak English!

Remember folks, one visit at the Dolph blog a day, keeps the doctor away :wink:

From the Dolphblog:

"Titles of Will Smith movies if they would have starred Dolph instead:

Hancock = Dolphcock
I, Robot = I, Dolph
Wild wild west = Wild wild Dolph"

Sweet...

I don't know what you consider sweet but at least two of those sound like bad, bad porn. I wouldn't want to see them. At least not the first one. :mrgreen:
