Thanks for the feedback dolphage. I am not so sure about facing Shopov in the other direction.
Him and the gun facing outwards is supposed to be like a continuation of the expolsion. It only partially works though. The best thing would be a different photo all toghether.
I kinda chose that one simply to get antoher gun on there .
A similar one with Legano would be cool.

I agree that the premise of the movie should come across better.
I need to get some terrorists in there one way or another.

I'm liking the mock ups, obviously they're not pro jobs and aren't finals. But as starting points they're good. Preachers one is a good starting point.

Just in regards to yours Preacher, I'd replace Hristo on the right, with Dave Legano.

Maybe you could find a picture where Shopov is MOSTLY looking at the camera. For exposition purposes maybe one with his daughters looking scared.

I LOVE having that picture of Dolph at the centre though. It's very in-your-face because protagonists face RIGHT and antagonists face LEFT, as a rule of thumb. So it's a little more provocing to have DL point the gun AT us rather than WITH us.

I really like the first poster, it would look awesome as a DVD cover, i like the red, Dolph and Melissa and the crowd, it matches the story of the movie, the second in the bottom also is good, Especially the colour red again matches good.

I don't think the company or designer can make covers better than u just showed us Jox, maybe the DVD can have a Variant two different types in North America to choose from, just like Van Damme did with The Hard Corps DVD covers, there is two different versions i saw in the store to choose from.

Love the one you did there, preacher. That's exactly the vibe Nu Image should go for. I'd probably have the female lead displayed more prominently than the bad guy, maybe tinker with the font of the titles a bit, but it's really well done. Great job.

On another board it was suggested to use the pic of Dolph smashing the guitar over that one guy's head on the cover. I don't think that would quite work for the cover, but that would be a perfect image for the back cover.

Yep. I agree that the title could use some work. On one hand i like the current one because it´s such an over-the-top action font. Kinda like how I see the movie (without having seen it). But it need further testing.

I think the main problem with the Legano pic is that it says nothing about who he is in the movie. I would have wanted the terrorist-factor to be more present to give a sense of the films premise (like dolphage talked about a couple of posts back).

And you're right about the Legano picture. In order to reveal who he IS in the story he needs to look menacing and hold a weapon (pointed AT US, not WITH US). But that WOULD be following the rules of storytelling so you might want to pass on that and ave him smiling and holding a flower

A petition for the largest swedish cinema owner to show Command Performance in Sweden has been made. I would like as many as possible to sign it. Even though you may not be from Sweden, you are more than welcome to sign it. It's been almost 15 years since this cinema company which now has the monopoly in Sweden, has shown a movie with Dolph. We would like to change that, and thus this petition has been made.

The one Preacher just show us , i also like it, it would look good as a movie poster, a big poster i still prefer bothe red ones Jox showed us, it really looks nice with Dolph Melissa and the crowd and the red with the star in the Title looks great it tells what the movie is about and where it is taking place.

None of the posters that you've shown us are all that good. Pretty ordinary look that looks like something every average photoshop user could create with a few layers. I expected something better, especially considering the well-made promoshoots that has been out for ages now.

Preachers poster is actually the best one so far, and that one still needs a lot of work to look right.

I'd say whoever is paying for someone to make these posters should fire the guy and get someone new that requires a higher pay, but hopefully also gives greater results.

Promotion is everything. A great poster, dvd-cover and tagline can make a big difference in peoples perception of a movie, and will also show on the sale and rental numbers.

Excellent, I don't know how much this will help but hell Dolph's name has resurrected from its ashes in Sweden so who knows. Signed! And keep us posted about the other plans you have to spread the Dolph love in Sweden...

I really like the red ones, but they're both too dark. Bit less red would be nice to lighten it up. But I like the style and the arrangement. In the first blue poster I don't like the red writing and the title being written over Dolphs head. 3rd poster is good, but nothing new.

Preachers poster looks fun, but Dolphs pic is too blurry for my taste.
