Thanks I'm glad you guys like them cause I was getting a little out of it. Then there's still more to come (I've only covered 2 days out of 3) and I will try to make an effort not space them out as much (plus we'll be getting closer from release).
Cool dragonrage! Good idea with the "old concert poster look". And you manage to stay really true to the concept. Campy and classy at the same time!
Don't know what version i like best.
It makes a perfect teaser poster if you ask me. Because it gives a hint on the premise without giving anything away. A cool advertising campaign would be to put this up next to real rock n roll-posters out on the town.
I don´t really like that picture of Dolph though...
First of all .... greetings to all! Some of you probably know me from the Van Damme forum, but for those who do not know me ... my nickname is Dragonrage, and I'm from Croatia...and I'm the new guy here, although I did visit this forum for a while.
The idea for poster was to make an old retro 80-is look a like poster...you know, like Rambo 1,2 &3, and some Belmondo movies, Rocky movies...or Dolphs "Masters of the Universe"...
...and I think that I succeeded in my plan...but you all tell me . I have a bunch of these old poster from 70is and 80is at home, an they are really cool, especially because this retro poster damages...it gives them more retro look.
congrats Dragonrage. great posters. my favourite is the 2nd one (and i really love the ones with the title on the bottom). great work. (what software are you using ?)
Very nice, dragonrage. The "worn out" effect is awesome, they should use that for the official version no matter what, to set it apart from other covers.
The "blue" crowd shot is a great counter part for the warm colored DL photo.
