I did the Expendables psyche test on that website, and I came up as most like Gunner Jensen!

Booyah!

I was most like Lee Christmas, which is kinda obvious, given my fondness of knives, my impressive airplane-driving skills, and my popularity among women. Atleast, that's how I would like to be ... :(

Lucky you, I got Tool, and I was just thinking the one who annoys me most now in the trailers and promos is Mickey Rourke :?

The Expendables sounds like a good flick. Somewhat remiscent to The Dirty Dozen with Lee Marvin and Clint Walker :D

I saw it mentioned on the Stallonezone board, so I'm gonna complain about it here as well: why does Sweden not have a release date for The Expendables yet? I know it's very unlikely they would just release it DTV here, but still, I'm both annoyed and a bit worried, hope they won't postpone it to the fall or something, then I'd have to go to Norway to see it. :( Nothing against Norway, but still, it's a long drive ...

Have to ask the Norwegian releasing company (usually the same). How is censorship in Sweden these days, is it possible they're waiting to review it first?

Here's the full version of song from the trailer, "Diamond Eyes" by Shinedown:

We really don't have much of a censorship here, but someone will see it and review it to set a rating, and my concern is that they'll release the movie in October or November or God forbid even later! How will I be able to wait/survive that long? :x

Hm, it seems that Noble Entertainment will distribute The Expendables in Sweden. I'll e-mail them right away! Thanks for the tip, Jox!

I asked remembering the early Dolph movies like THE PUNISHER (and a couple of others I think) were banned in for the violence and didn't get a theatrical release in Sweden.

That might be true, but in the last fifteen years or so, the censor board has been rendered basically powerless. Someone gives the movies ratings, but that's it. Nothing is censored or cut. Thankfully, I might add.

This has not been a good day. It seems that they, meaning the main distributor here in Sweden, hasn't decided yet if they're gonna release The Expendables here. Which is the one of the biggest WTF:s I've ever heard of. In fact, it's a disgrace, I mean Dolph is swedish for fracks sake! Now, the IMDB page says that Noble Entertainment is the distributor, and I've e-mailed them without getting a response, though the comment about "not having decided" comes from a different company, so I don't know what's going on! Aaargh! :x

So if everyone could be very kind and sign this petition, so that us swedes hopefully might get to see The Expendables in cinemas, and yeah I know that petitions usually leads to nothing, but it's worth a try:
