I think they're meant to illustrate that the film has a "heart" and not just tons of action, which I guess is good, though I have to agree that releasing these scenes for marketing seems a bit unnecessary. It's not like anyone's gonna say: "Oh sure it's got all the big action stars and explosions and hot babes and all that shit, but what about THE HEART?" I mean, we all want the film to have some quiet character-moments so that we care about what happens, but that's not what's gonna sell this kind of movie, IMO.

Yes, I'm always amazed about how short the guys actually are. I mean, Terry Crews looks so very tall in the video interviews, yet at 6'3'' (1,88) he's not short but he wouldn't overlook a crowd. At least not over here. I've noticed that in the U.S. I was able to see the stage just fine when at concerts. Over here I have to find the right gap. Oh and nice to see that I can look Statham, Rourke and Willis right in the eyes.

Edgar Wright (SCOTT PILGRIM, HOT FUZZ) joked about following Sly Stallone's Expendables at Comic-Con:
"We have 13 guests coming out but I don't think all of them will equal one Lundgren."

The soundtrack is available for pre-order on Amazon.

Since Lionsgate Records is primarily releasing it as digital download, Amazon will deliver it on CD-R manufactured on demand.

What I like is that Dolph seems to be always well closed and "trendy". I see it as a mark of respect for the audience (as Sam Raimi wearing a suite while directing). Not that the other cast members are disrespectful, not at all, but it gives a certain "classe" to Dolph.

I think Dolph said he inherited his taste for suits and being nicely dressed from his father. As someone who's seen on screen mostly wearing washed up t-shirts and combat fatigues it's good for his credibility as a not just an action star but a down to earth and serious person.

Ask your questions to Stallone for the upcoming AICN Q&A sesssion!
