I'm really looking forward to this movie, as long as it is entertaining with loads of action i'll be happy with it.

Filming wrapped. That was a short one wasn't it ? less than a month (for dolph at least).

I think it was about 18 days (like STORM CATCHER, AGENT RED and ICARUS) which is indeed very short for any feature film and I 'm not talking about the fact that this is a piece wit costumes, likely horses and special effects (practical and CGI) and possibly shooting 3D (takes 1/3 time more than usual)...

18 day shooting schedule does seem pretty quick! But on the bright side, it just means the movie is that much closer to being released for all of us Dolph fans to enjoy! I LIKE IT!

That doesn't mean the release will be closer, it depends on how long they spend on post-production, which in this case should be heavy even done cheap, and even if the movie is ready it ultimately depends of the releasing companies who can choose to hold on to it for a while...

Well, let's hope there are some extremely cool special effects put in during the post-production phase... 18 days filming for the main lead doesn't bode too well for the film.

I think he shot Alone in the Dark in around the same time, and to be fair, ithe film looks superb for the budget and schedule

It's Uwe Boll. Does he even know what a second take is?

A lot of the time, a second isn't practical and you have to move on. I have worked on a lot of productions where there is only one take. You just have to live with whatever's there.

Come on even with a sloppy director like Danny Lerner who doesn't care (or have no clue) about performances you do two or three takes. Unless you're on a messy production like DIAMOND DOGS, a HK production or this is a "special effects heavy" shot (like a big explosion) or you don't care about quality there is no excuse for no second take.
