I know its easy to say when you don't work on the production, but sometimes you are stuck with the one take. I don't like to criticize directors when I am not in their position and don't know the limitations they are forced to work under.

I work on a lot of TV shows in Asia, and it is often one take. I wish we could do more, but it's not my position to decide that. Because of this, sometimes mistakes get left in or it could have been better, but you have to live with it.

I know the working conditions can be very different in certain parts of Asia (long hours, no days off, light security and less planning, single takes), so I can't even imagine what it's like for TV. But this is a full on feature film shot in Canada we're talking about here...

What I know is that Boll is pretty much the boss of his films so he's responsible and in control of everything on his projects. And this is a period/fantasy piece we're talking about here not something you can shoot "gorilla-style" in the streets of Vancouver...

Cool! I know this is gonna be one of those simple guilty pleasure movies like Detention or Bridge of Dragons but it's nice to see Dolph doing some different things with weapons and fighting and shit. Should be cool.

I never seen the first one and i don't intend to see but this movie should be better, ever Uwe Boll's vision it's slighty superrior to most of the b directors with Rampage, Tunnel Rats or Darfur.

Is Boll known for cutting his movies pretty quickly?

He's known for doing everything pretty quickly (or doing 100 things at the same time)!

Cutting might not be the proper term for what he does, just like how calling him a director is overdoing it.

Same here, by coincidence it's the first In the Name of the King, I liked the action but the dialogue and acting were awful, it took itself too seriously, for the sequel to work it almost has to come across as a joke on the viewer.

From the sound of things, he's doing it for the money. But let's be honest here, he's made movies that are just as bad for a lot less. I'm just a bit disappointed this is his follow-up movie to The Expendables.
