G2 Pictures, IM Global Take U.K. Rights to 'Bunraku,' 'Everything Must Go' (Cannes)
The independent distributor also picks up actioners "Stash House," "Dragon Eyes" pics.
CANNES -- U.K. independent distributor G2 Pictures sealed a multi-picture deal for U.K. rights with IM Global for a slew of movies including Bunraku, starring Woody Harrelson, Josh Hartnett, Ron Perlman and Demi Moore.
The British outfit, set up by industry vets Thomas Hedman, Nik Hedman and Alan Partington in 2008, also took all U.K. rights to comedy drama Everything Must Go, based on a Raymond Carver story and starring Will Ferrell and Rebecca Hall. Other pics in the pact include the After Dark; Joel Silver produced actioners such as Dragon Eyes 1 and 2, with Jean-Claude Van Damme; Jim Caviezel starrer Transit; and Dolph Lundgren's turn in Stash House.
G2 Pictures also said it has sealed a deal for the next eight films in the After Dark Originals horror series. "We are very happy to be continuing our relationship with IM Global and to be releasing such exciting titles later on in the year," says G2 director Nik Hedman.

G2 Pictures has inked a multi-picture deal with Stuart Ford’s IM Global, which sees the U.K.-based distrib snap urights to Will Ferrell and Re-becca Hall starrer “Everythin Must Go.”
Other titles include $25 milion actioner “Bunraku,” topliing Woody Harrelson, Josh Hartnett, Ron Perlman and Demi Moore, which IM Global launched sales on at Toronto last year.
G2 also took rights to After Dark-Joel Silver produced action pics including both installments of “Dragon Eyes,” topliing Jean-Claude Van Damme; Jim Caviezel starrer “Transit"; “Stash House,” starring Dolph Lundgren and “Philly Kiid.”
Also secured were the next eight pics in the After Dark Originals horror series, following G2’s launch of the brand earlier this year.
