When I saw Dolph choose Uwe Boll for making his next film I was upset and I asked to myself why this choice ? it would be not possible to make a worth choice ! After his several effort as director and his comeback on the highlights with EXP why choose ITNOTK 2 ? Now, we can explain it by the fact is divorced and he probably needed money at this period.

Hard to do not smile when you read the TWO WORLDS's synopsis : Granger, an ex-member of special forces is transported in medevial world where just him could change the destiny of a kingdom. For that he has to kill "The Holy Mother"
Most of the characters are not credible. I think in particular to the characters of the king and his faithful soldier. The different battles missed of dynamism and Dolph fights in a very bad way (which can be explain by the fact he has been injured at the beginning of the set).
The part of the movie I was the more sceptical : the appearance of the dragons is a good surprise and it is not the fiasco like announced.
After you accept the weakness of the script and the absence of any sense during some scenes, I have to say the film is rich in actions scenes, despite the fact that Uwe Boll does not know shooting them. I was not boring during the movie and I didn't fell any difficulties to arrive to the ending. Good point. Helped by a good french blu-ray edition which hightlight the beauty of various forests and landscapes using for the set. The score is assured by a perfectly unknowned is surprisely pleasant !

To conclude, ITNOTK 2 is, for sure, not a good movie but it is far better than the movies Dolph made in the past ( THE MINION, AGENT RED )

I think the big problem with the film is it reeks of being low-budget and rushed... which it was. The rushed production is very apparent on screen. Yes, Dolph does the best he can considering what he's got to work with, but the film just isn't very good.

-- The script is needlessly convoluted and bad
-- The casting of Lochlyn Munroe as the king was a bad choice (with a horrible wig)
-- The budget constraints are extremely evident when it comes to the design of the castle (all we really see is the front and door)
-- The dialogue is equally bad

Dolph is clearly having fun and knows the quality of film he's in, which is very apparent on his face throughout (giving me flashbacks to his performance in the slightly worse Agent Red).

All this aside though, Uwe Boll is not the horrible director that his reputation suggests. Yes, he's directed some crap, and ITNOK2 isn't any better, but he's not the worst director out there.

Well at least this movie was something different for Dolph, latelly Dolph has been only making movies
on a revenge agaisnt terrorrists or mobs, it was time for something different and this movie was it, even though it wasn't to everybody's liking it.

I would prefer him doing battle with some vikings or vampires or cowboys, but watching him blowing away terrorrists and mobs in almost every movie he makes is starting to get boring.
He needs to start making something different and not always as a ex special forces soldier.

If you put all those three groups in a movie fighting eachother then you have my attention. That's what I want to see everytime I start watching a movie.

Haha, yeah that was an awesome castle. Like they really needed a dragon to breach that one wall. They could have just walked calmly around it.
Spring, era jävlar!

Is this released as dvd/blu-ray somewhere in Europe yet?
Because in sweden we just got it released as a video on demand :( :(
Really want this one in my collection and can only play region 2/B....
My favorite Swedish dinner would be baby seal and whale ass in the summer. But I'd really die for some Chinese."

Moscow-based producer Bob Van Ronkel, a friend and associate of Dolph, is suing Uwe Boll for $1 million over misspelling and credit issues.
