That show is stupid. The fan made trailer is really nice though, apart from the music and the shitty font.

Definately. I mean what's the point of these bookings? All these shows that noone watches. The idea is to reach as many people as possible and, secondarily, to reach new demographics. That's it.

I know that the really huge shows aren't gonna want him for anything but a cameo, but he could get bigger bookings than this. His management have to sell him better, come up with fascinating/outrages stories from his career (create "angles" for him) and get bigger shows to want him on .

And he has to play along too, Dolph has things to learn about being a great guest. Sly Stallone is incredible at selling his product, for example, and he has a ton of crazy, exaggerated stories about all his co-stars etc, to bring up. Dolph always struggles to be captivating and witty on these shows (and I'm a huge DL fan). It' a skill, he can learn it. He's Dolph fckng Lundgren! He should be King of the World!

I agree that it's important for Dolph to reach that demographic; young people, my objection that there are better ways of doing that. Reaching a bigger audience.

I don't mind the humour in the show itself, it's completly deliberate how akward and crappy it is. That's the joke; it's making fun of the awkwardness of basic cable tv-shows. And its obviously cut together in a way that makes it more non-sequitur. I think it's pretty funny.

Also, if Dolph would have been better prepare he could have been incorporated more in the humour, either as playing a very clear "straight man" to the weirdness of the host or asbeing an equally strange guest.

I'm not saying any of this is the Big Guy' fault - he's an actor, he should have management that does these things for him!

That's pretty funny, taken out of context.

We know Dolph can be very good and comfortable now (ie his 2008-2010) as opposed to the 80s and 90s. Stallone is especially good at talking about his work (ie his audio commentaries), an yeah, selling himself and turning stories into fun stuff. Some great artists are good at talking about their work while others don't (ie again audio commentaries, fascinating vs boring ones).

Anyway this a short crappy clip, I still would have liked to see the whole interview, the skit we saw in the preview... and the drumming!
