How can you clearly see the font?!

I know it'll probably be a minute long fight scene as the filming period was very short; that's the common problem with DTV fight scenes.
Even on bigger movies, they don't shoot fights in a week anymore (and then you wonder why they're edited hastily and look bad...), at least not on EX2.

I was on my phone when I read it, so I zoomed in! Just an early observation, I may be completely wrong but there are DTV movies with surprisingly lavish titles. See "A Dangerous Man" by Seagal for an example. The titles are usually the best bit of any Seagal movie  in fact they look a bit like the title sequence for "Icarus" which I thought was fantastic.

You know, I really don't know why they take so long, is it lack of professional knowledge/experience by the crew and actors? The Double Impact end fight was shot in three days and although cheesy now, it looks good. I know there is no comparison but I have shot 2-3 minute fights in a matter of hours, where I play both characters. Of course there are not as many camera set-ups etc but still, I miss the days of 4-5 minute fight scenes ala Universal Soldier or Lone Wolf McQuade. For a recent DTV fight that's well filmed, edited and of reasonable length, see Hunt to Kill with Austin versing Gary Daniels. It can be done!

And they filmed the ROCKY IV fight in 2 weeks but that took like 20 mins in the film! On UNISOL I think both beginning and end fights took almost a week each and they filmed more stuff for a day or two after the test screenings...

As I suspected, it's temporary.

the font and color are both temporary, they will be ready after the mix.

Yeah I did think that the colour was untouched. Jesse, despite working with low budgets, is pretty artistic in colour correction etc, I was impressed with The Butcher, considering how low the budget was.

Jesse Johnson remembering his days on JOSHUA TREE:
That was my first movie in the US - I was an assistant to the assistants, lol, yesterday we delivered (completed all work on) "The Package" - the film I directed starring Dolph. It's been a good 20 years.

So that's it THE PACKAGE is completed and now awaiting for release (which might take a few months from now), I don't expect it to come before the winter (which might coincide with the Blu-ray/DVD release of EX2 around Christmas).

Know I shouldn't get too hyped for this one, much like OITC, but from what I've seen so far from both films, they look like fun action movies. Still, looks can be deceptive, it would just be nice to get a straight flush of decent Dolph movies.

Is it me or is Dolph doing a lot of movies with dirty, double entendre titles?
Since:
MISSIONARY MAN there has been THE PACKAGE and ONE IN THE CHAMBER...

Ask Nathan to explain what having "one in the chamber" refers to.

Either way I am quietly excited about this one. Hopefully a fun little B-actioner.

Good Trailer!!!
The Double Lundgren can be clearly seen. Why Dolph makes hardly any fights themselves? This is my last noticed often. The trailer rocks and Dolph seem right badass.

That looks fucking brilliant. Jesse V. always gets the best guns haha, even in The Butcher which was shot for about three quid, Eric Roberts has an amazing arsenal throughout. Steve Austin whapped a line straight from another movie he is in; "You're really starting to piss me off." Was it TE? When he was interrogating Stallone? I think so. As for the Dolph double...worst double ever. Seriously, it spoils every damn fight for me now, I'm sick of seeing Van Damme, Seagal, Lundgren, Stallone all doubled. Don't tell me it's about age or insurance or the doubles can do it better, there is no excuse for the utterly excessive doubling on display there. Other than that Dolph looks good.

Agreed. I think for a lot of reasons too, it's a time thing. Dolph didn't have much time on The Package so they probably doubled him a fair bit. Even for establishing shots probably, they may have used a stand in. I dunno what I'd prefer though, a 30 second D fight without double, or a 2 minute fight with doubles. Anyway, that was Hyam's reasoning in Unisol 3 for the D and JC fight. That was a really good fight but they could only get it that length and intensity with fight doubles. A lot of times it would seem in these films they choreograph on the day, or alter a lot on the day. That makes injury more likely, and again, out come the doubles.
But the doubles in this are terrible.

Other than that, this looks like fun.
