No idea, officially it was Stallone's grief (but that doesn't seem enough since he wasn't in Madrid either and he's coming to Paris) but they skipped Bruxelles and Moscow as well so...

And thank the lord it is exactly how the first movie should have been. The mixed tone which never worked in the first movie is gone and is replaced with a quirky, fun, outrageous caper almost feel movie.

I couldn't stand the first and saw it as a rushed mess.

I'm so happy this has turned out well, Sly handing over to Simon West was a great idea, lots of wide shots, hardly any fast cuts, everything is clear and allowed to play out to maximum effect.

Story wise, generic but that is fine with me, the movie explodes onto the screen and the pace hardly dips right up to the finale.

Dolph again steals the show and is insane
