Hoping this one receives the good online buzz it deserves, a stack of reviews like that will help. Actually looking quite forward to seeing it now. Although no doubt the UK won't get it for some time yet. Still, One in the Chamber in 2 days!

Review from a JC fan:
so here is my review, I saw the movie here in Berlin in 3D. First of all, the 3D is not so good what I expected, there was nothing special for 3D!
The first 10 minutes are incredible!!!! it was better than in- Law Abiding Citizen- .
The violence is very clear to see in the movie, and I like it (and also the 150 - 200 people in the theatre. Scott did a great job, for me it's his best movie. The whole movie had a - big screen feeling- not a DTV. You can see that the movie was filming in the US and not in Romania,Bulgaria....! Dolph was also great, (he has 1 or 2 days of filming more than JC ? right?). JC 's best scene was the beginning. But the endfight he did with scott was very dissapointed for me, you can only see one or two kicks from JC, (and not a good one) the rest is his stuntdouble. I ask me by my self, Dolph has also a small part in the movie but he is fucking great, why can jc not the same in almost the same time like Dolph? All scenes with Dolph are great, and he has 2 fight scenes and great acting scenes. For me it is a Scott Adkins movie and not a JC Movie.
I love this movie. And I must see the movie in german, because the story is a bit strange and my english is not soooooooo good, so I did not understand 100 % from story and dialoge.

8/10

US4 has been rated R "for brutal bloody violence throughout, strong sexual content, graphic nudity and language."

Every possible extremity that could secure you an R rating. Not surprised about this...

Apparently though "the MPAA forced a lot of cuts from John's directors cut. John has told me he believes that an R version and unrated might be released on blu-ray. (Might is the keyword.)"

It's funny but I thought that might be the case. Do they even still do the NC-17 ratings or have those sorta been banished from theatres due to changes in audience demographics?

Gotta admit, the "strong sexuality" and "graphic nudity" surprises me... Is it really necessary for the series? Graphic violence, sure. But the other two seem out of place and unnecessary for the series... Maybe that's just me though...

Are audiences finally gonna see the biggest dick ever seen on a man in 3D? Ha ha.

SHAME with Michael Fassbinder was NC-17 in the States last year, but it's really rare as studios want to avoid it at all costs.

I don't think that's the question or that it was added like an ingredient to the series... Will see in the context and stance of the film. (also the MPAA can use strong and prude words for nothing much sometimes)

Only if they come over to my house, nighttime.

When I was a kid it was my dream to have movies be part brutal action and part hardcore porn (kind of still is), maybe this is the first attempt...

But anyway, if you're going for the R rating you might aswell go all out, I say.

Now I really can't wait to see this movie!
Spring, era jävlar!
