Hello. I'm new to the forum. Been a Dolph fan for some time....always dug Rocky IV...and thought Drago was by far the best character of the series. Some questions have come to mind and I figured I would ask. One thing that always bothered me is they didn't offer any translation for what Ludmilla yells in the 15th round. She yells twice at Ivan, but what does she say? Any ideas?

Also, I was reading somewhere that Rocky broke Ivans ribs...does anyone know what round this was supposed to occur? I thought it may have been in the last round in the last flurry of body blows...which may account for why Ivan could not easily get up when knocked down. I came to this thought because Ivan immediately tries to get up, but he is not able to.

Any thoughts?

As far as I know that "Dawai, dawai" means something like "Let's go, move your ass!" (Like the Spanish "Andale, andale!" or Arabic "Yalla, yalla!")

I read the Rocky IV novelisation recently (yes...) and it's mentioned in that how Rocky breaks Drago's ribs toward the end of the fight. There are a lot of little additions to characters in the book actually. It's a surprisingly okay read for what it is.
