This week, celebrity Dolph Lundgren talks about growing up in Sweden as a straight A student with a dream of pursuing a chemical engineering degree to his almost accidental career start in Hollywood as Grace Jones’ date at a premiere that launched him into becoming an international action star. Dolph dishes on all his favorite movie roles including working with Sylvester Stallone as well as the rest of The Expendables. His latest is a TV turn for Reelz on the new reality competition series, Race To The Scene.

This was a fun interview. What's interesting to me is how on most interiews with D, the interviewer typically hits the most notable moments of his career -- Rocky IV, a little bit of MOTU, then onto Universal Soldier, and then The Expendables, with very little mention of anything in between. Plenty happened between MOTU and US... It'd be nice if they could go into some of the smaller films that maybe aren't so popular.

I'm trying to decide who gives a more fun interview Dolph or Sly. Both are funny and charismatic... The bias in me wants to immediately say Dolph, but Sly has a commanding, fun presence as well.

That's because it's a mainstream US show mostly aimed at launching "Race To The Scene" on the same channel, so of course (especially with American Idol type interviewer) they won't be tackling SWEEPERS or HIDDEN AGENDA. I'm sure their frame of mind is more the usual "people don't know Dolph, let's tell people how smart is, dated Grace Jones and beat thousands to get the role of Ivan Drago"...
