Wesley Snipes looks good, though it appears that he lost much of his muscle mass while in prison...

He looks 20 years younger than he is honestly, if I didn't know who he is or didn't know his age when I saw him I would have thought he's 35 at most. Muscles don't matter, but I don't think he always had the same mass he had in DEMOLITION MAN even before he went to prison.

He's very slim, but with decent sized arms in Brooklyn's Finest, which was shot circa 2008. He's blessed with good DNA, like Eddie Murphy doesn't look like he's aged.

The studio really should think about Blade 4. Wesley so young.

I guess much will depend on the box office of Exp 3. But a Blade 4 could be done on a moderate budget and be quite successful. Wesley probably has unfinished business with it. They wouldn't be able to get David Goyer on board though. He and Snipes have bad blood.

Yeah he wrote them all. He hated working with Wesley on the third. At the same time Wesley didn't like Goyer and felt he was ruining the legacy of Blade and wasn't good enough for the gig. On this regard I side with Wesley in their feud. Blade 3 was awful.

A Blade 4 back to the vein of the first or second would be great. A moderate budget would work, and it would also be an ideal sort of project to give someone like John Hyams the platform to step up to proper theatrical work.

I feel sad for the current incarnation of Snipes... he's also a very good actor beyond the action stuff he's done. It's too bad he pidgeon holed himself into an action star caricature. We'd probably have less sam jackson. Snipes would have been a way better NIck fury imo than SJ. I could probably think of 10 more roles he would of filled better than SJ.

That's true, he wasn't just known for his action roles: JUNGLE FEVER, ONE MAN STAND, WHITE MEN CAN'T JUMP etc. But I guess he was making more money with action flicks than intimate dramas. PASSENGER 57 really put him on the map as an action star, without this one he could have gone the Denzel Washington way and be more of a character actor (or an Award chaser like DZ).
