Like I said earlier, the pace is picking up on the set of Skin Trade. Skin Trade is a new action thriller starring Dolph Lundgren, me, Ron Perlman, Michael Jai White, Celina Jade, Peter Weller, Cary Hiroyuki Tagawa and one more surprise person. TJ

So.. Tony says there is going to be one more "surprise" / hopefully somebody known in the movie.

Dolph vs Jaa?
A short head to head before they join forces? Classic set-up.

As for the "surprise name" that Jaa is hinting at I hope for a cool female name. My only grump right now would be that the film is populated by a lot of old men.
Linda Hamilton? Gina Davis? Michelle Yeoh? A badass female veteran would rock and elevate the picture. But I realise it´s a long shot.

Maybe they've managed to get Adkins involved?

It could be either. But as far as I know there isn't a Michelle Yeoh or Linda Hamilton badass type female part to fill (unless they've added one last minute or switched roles with a guy). But that doesn't mean there isn't a good female role yet to be cast, and a talented one can't hurt (btw I wish more attention was drawn to female parts in Dolph's movies, most are just so average or mediocre acting-wise - I liked his ex-wife in ICARUS, she could bring some emotional depth).

I'm with you there man.
Speaking of Icarus i really commend the choice made in that film making the gangster boss a woman. I remember watching the 'making of' where the actress revealed that the character was written as a man but they changed it. Bold move i think. Can't say it was very well executed though. Her wardrobe was ridiculous, the way her being a lesbian was portrayed was kinda lame and the acting was just ok. That being said, Icarus was a plauged production and I think the initial idea of switching gender of that particular character was both interesting and bold.

Bring me Joan Allen! Or kristin Scott Thomas (Have not seen Only God Forgives and i suspect I wolud be among the haters but i know you love it Jox)!

I love Joan Allen, and KST is one of those actresses who can pull off almost anything, as a matter of fact I saw her in a parisian café a few weeks ago. It'd probably take a lot to get them to be in a Dolph Lundgren movie but who knows who he could cast one day... The casting pulled off on SKIN TRADE is also promising for NORDIC LIGHT, for which the financing could depend on casting even more (especially if he doesn't "star" in it)...

Another name? I'm so excited with the cast of it. Tagawa was great (as usual) in 47 Ronin which is still in theatres here. He's full of charisma. Def he deserves a nomination of smth like BEST MOVIE VILLAIN OF ALL TIME or whatever.

Seems like they're shooting at BKK's airport. That's great, it a really "cinegenic" location I think.
So far, the locations looks great from all the pictures we've seen. :)
I can't contain my enthusiasm, event if I want to and be a little cautious. ;)
