Wow, I'm impressed! Not the cheap look we've seen in too many of his movies of the last years. A lot of martial arts fighting going on and a bunch of good and seasoned actors. That looks really, really promising! Yay!

You can get a good idea of how it could sound listening to the clips from DEAD MAN DOWN:

Finally!
I wish the trailer was in true HD but this look really good as far as production values go!

The trailer it self may not be perfect but it is not bad either.
The first half, explaing the set up, comes across a bit clunky: Wellers speach is obviously cut together from a longer line and Dolphs "Dragovich in America"-line sounds kinda lame (out of context atleast).
After the explosion in Dolphs apartement, when the trailer shifts in to high gear, it works and flows beautifully. Shows of hard hitting action and great intensity from the actors.
I LOVE Jaas one-liner at the very end! 8)

Now some concrete news regarding the release would be nice.

Every time I watch it it first sounds like he's speaking Thai when he's says "negotiation", takes me a second to register.

I think Dolph was really sensible obtaining that cast. Jaa's a big name and people have long waited for his US breakout. Perlman has plenty of profile from Son's Of Anarchy right now too. Plus it's got Robocop in it too. D's also still pretty fresh from Expendables 3 too, which helps.

Can't say that Dolph will be there, seems to contradict his schedule:

From FB Q&A:
David Newland In your new movie Skin Trade, how did you go about looking for a musician to make the soundtrack for it ?

Dolph Lundgren Good question: where do you start? Our editor Victor Du Bois had worked with this Danish composer Jacob Groth on another project. I knew Jacob from the Millennium movies and I was looking forward to working with him and he's done a great job!

David West Hi Dolph, I'm looking forward to seeing Skin Trade when it comes out. What was it like working with Tony Jaa,and in particular doing action scenes with him?

Dolph Lundgren It was a challenge because he's a good fighter, knows his moves really well, he's a perfectionist. It was a pleasure as a producer and an actor. both of us look really good. The fights were exhausting. it was very hot in Bangkok, night shoots which is more difficult. He has a great personality.

Which screening, the AFM screenings? The Kenya thing is not a screening from my understanding the other producer is just bringing Tony, Ron and MJW over there to attend another red carpet event...

Ok, I thought it was a screening within a festival, my bad.
AS for the AfM, wel, it'll be interesting to know who will handle the us distribution.

The article was confusing in the way it was written...

I think they're anxious to close a deal as well, and there's supposed to be screenings to US distributors prior to it even now...

Not just a computer generated score, the music has been performed by The Danish Filmharmonics including Ole Bo and Klaus Menzer-percussion and Soeren Moeller-Keyboards.

Composer Jacob Groth has posted two outtakes (not retained in the movie):

If those are out-takes then I can't wait for the full score. They were really good.
