These are the commercials Sly and Dolph shot back in December...
(remember the pics by the trailers?)
(and I remember Dolph telling me right before that he had not even read CREED II script or a storyline so he was looking forward to talk to Sly about it, he wasn't officially signed either yet but talks were in progress with the studio) Sly made a bunch of adverts for them so it seems he was the one to get the deal and brought D on...

“I cried like a baby when they got to that scene when he’s like, ‘Why are you doing this, kid?’ and he’s like, ‘I just want to prove that I wasn’t a mistake.’ I’m sitting there, oh my God, I was verklempt, man. A lot of black men that have issues with their fathers, when they saw that scene, it became our Brian’s Song. It became our Remember the Titans. It became one of those movies that it is acceptable for ‘macho’ men to cry during. So the opportunity to work on Creed II was definitely something that I fought for, something that I couldn’t pass up. Later on, when I got to work with Stallone on the draft, that was a dream come true.”

I connect with what Coker says here, that line, and the intimate themes and questioning that the character and movie deal with, also made me shed tears and made the power and greatness of CREED to me. So I certainly hope, since we'll also go into the Dragos father and son (or son and father) relationship, that CREED II will explore those issues further...
