Saw it a couple of weeks ago at the LA premiere (yes it's only coming out now in the US), and I must I didn't have so much fun in a long time! A guilty pleasure but a sincere and never pretentious piece of entertainment.

Wow, I thought this would have been released years ago .

I think this one a good one also, I imported the Japanese DVD about 2-3 years ago what contains the directors cut! Very bloody movie and really good action .

Have not seen the sequel, but own the Japanese DVD also, what does not include subtitles! Shop refunded my money in the end, studio removed them from DVD release at last moment.

and if you can , watch Versus ( a little bit long , but really fun ) and Aragami , short ( 1h15 ) but fun .

Just bought the DVD of AZUMI 2 the other day , DVD features the movie in DTS and English subtitles! I have seen the first 30 minutes and it looks good , most fans who loved the first have not enjoy the second! I think it looks good, the picture is a bit soft in the night scenes unfortunately.

The movie features some good action scenes.
