You put Dolph Lundgren in a movie, and I’m there. Terrence Howard wearing a big hat is just a bonus.

Howard plays a movie theater owner whose business is threatened by corporate developers, presumably the same people who are always trying to pave over kids’ clubhouses in dance movies. He enlists the help of an action movie star (Lundgren), because the show must go on. That’s a great premise with a promising cast from writer-director Orson Oblowitz, a former cinematographer. —PV

I was just thinking about this one just yesterday. Good to see it getting a release date.
This has got some potential I feel. If it's a mess then it is probably a creative mess. Better that then a generic one at least.

Yep, the premise alone makes it more original than anything in recent years, and the on-set images make it look like a whacked and promising project.

Well.... I try to keep my hopes moderate, but it seems fun, Howard and Savage are good actors, and it seems nicely shot. Could be a fun surprise.

For non-french people, Dolph's name Claude-Luc Hallyday is an obvious nod to french superstar (although not really famous outside of France) Johnny Hallyday. He was mainly a singer (might seem a bit out-of-date to some) and an actor (he acted in a Johnnie To movie). And in my opinion it's also a nod to JCVD with a composed first name.

It does look good, so not only it's original which is rare nowadays, but it looks fun and very well put together, and Dolph playing off his action star image/persona is cool.

Now, you got me wonder if they did offer it to JCVD first...?
