When I wrote this script, I imagined it for Nicolas Cage as the lead. In some kind of miracle, Cage read the script but passed on it because he wanted to move away from action films. The fact that he even read it was amazing! I've seen the work-in -progress screener of this film, and Stephen Lang kills it. So does Keitel, and I think this is one of Lundgren's best performances.
