About the Swedish distributor having cold feet to release it theatrically and waiting to see how it does at the worldwide box office first, it seems to be due to financial troubles and possible to to be bankruptcy.

The making of, which this will be a small part of I'm sure, has been shot by director John Herzfeld (15 MINUTES, and the guy who had sent the photos of Dolph directly to Sly for ROCKY IV so a man to be grateful to!) and promises great stuff for the DVD/Blu-ray!

Yeah I read that too, the original distributor went bankrupt so now the "big one", SF (Swedish Film), is looking to buy distribution rights, hopefully the release won't be delayed with more than a month or so. Which is still lousy, though, but what can you do ...

Custom-made Hibben Knives (Sly being a sucker for these) have been used for the film and a few limited replicas will soon be for sale on their site:

They told me the rights were at Noble Entertainment but apparently now they found another company.

Dolph is trying to get Sly and the gang over to Sweden but then of course nothing's signed

Someone over at the IMDB board claims to have seen the film, and specifically says that "Dolph steals the movie." Here's the link (SPOILERS): http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1320253/boa ... 943979?p=1

Couldn't describe it better:
He was a great balance between being sympathetic+awesome so you want to root for him but also menacing and crazy so that everytime he appears on screen you don't know what he's going to do or what'll happen next (kind of similar to Ledger's Joker).
