At least for once the reviews (for the most part) are totally supporting the film!
(sometimes more than certains "fans", who don't even seem to get it and far from it when you read some comments on forums and FB, even after you explain them the point and take of the film - oh well...)
I 'got' the film; an action film with directorial elements of of Lynch and Cronenberg, and an 'indie' approach to storytelling... however I simply feel the script simply wasn't strong enough to support the 'show, don't tell' suggestiveness of the style. It's a VERY good film that aims high and fairly arthouse, but if you want the film to have loftier aspirations, then ALL the elements need to be lofty. The script's too thin. It's still the best 'DTV' film (which it unfortunately is, seeing as the US market overbears the rest of the world

) I've ever seen, definitely miles ahead of the already 'stronger than it's release fate' previous brother.
