It's 10 years too late. Plus I think apart from his physical abilities he lacks something (bigger charisma? more acting skills?) to become a big star (not mentioning the English language/accent handicap), and the martial arts thing is over apart from exceptions like THE RAID and the DTV market. But he'll get stuff done none the less for sure like all our other action stars.
In the case of NEVER BACK DOWN 3, I don't know how well the 2nd one (already directed by MJW) did but it was an easy grrenlight with Dolph/MW manager, co-producer of SKIN TRADE Craig Baumgarten also being behind the NEVER BACK DOWN films...
